COUNTY BOARD MANAGEMENT SYSTEM - DISCIPLINE

The ECB have introduced a database system called County Board Management System which is being used country wide by Boards, Clubs and all leagues. One part of the content of CBMS relates to Discipline and lists players who are serving bans imposed on them by their various league disciplinary committees as a result of bad behaviour.

The Kent Cricket League are required to subscribe to this system and will take action from the 2007 season and enter any players that fit the aforementioned criteria.

We intend to fix a minimum level of entry of four weeks unless it is the team captain who traditionally has received a four week ban for his first offence. He will be exempt from entry on his first four week offence.

The Disciplinary Officer, Peter Robinson,is the only Committee Member able to use the CBMS and it is he who will enter players names and type of offence. He is also the League Officer to contact if you wish to check on a player coming to your club from another league.

For further information or questions of clarification please E Mail Peter Robinson on peter.robinson@ukonline.co.uk
