LATEST LEAGUE NEWS - ( colour coding - red = urgent, green = new)
13 May	Attention Play Cricket scorecard administrators. You will have noticed a few changes to the input design and that there are a few glitches - the main one of which is that bowlers wickets do not correctly 'auto tally' in the bowling analysis. The ECB are aware of this (and a few other smaller glitches) and hope to resolve soon. Please take care when entering scorecards - there have been a lot of small errors this week!

4 May	We apologise profusely on behalf of the Designer to Blackheath C.C. for the omission of their Club Report in the handbook. Their report is now available here
1 May	Category 3 (overseas) exempt players. An exemption means that the person in question now lives here in UK permanently. Any club found playing a Category3 exempt player who is found to have been overseas (home) for the winter can expect all the matches in which he has played to be forfeited against them. Please take note. If an exempt player returns to his home Country for the winter he reverts immediately to a Category 3 player unless it is cleared with the League for special circumstances.

25 Apr	Handbooks will be available for collection from next Saturday 3rd May - see here for collection details. Please can these be collected within a week of this date.
16 Apr	Premier captains are urged to read and understand the Playing Conditions and in particular the definition of wides. Umpires have been instructed to follow this rule closely in 2008 and are NOT to agree to play games using the stricter one day wide rule. All matches must be played under same rules.
4 Apr	A reminder to clubs regarding player registration. Players changing clubs do not count as a transfer before 20th April - after this date they are deemed transfers and you are only permitted one per season. Please take note.
