22 Jul	Twenty 20 Finals Day - Beckenham C.C. Sunday 25th July 2010 from 10.00 a.m. Bexley will play Blackheath at 10.00 a.m. and the Mote will play Upchurch at 1.00 p.m. with the two winners meeting in the final at 4.30 p.m. Please print off this poster and display in your clubhouse asap.

17 June	Revision - The ECB Directive regarding a delivery bouncing twice will NOT apply in the SNKCL for 2010. The existing Playing Conditions and Laws of Cricket remain in force.
8 June	Clubs are reminded that there should be no changes to start times or playing conditions for any matches. Any breaches discovered will be penalised by the Management Committee.
4 June	Twenty 20 Finals Day - Beckenham C.C. Sunday 25th July 2010 from 10 a.m. A limited opportunity exists to buy a table of ten in the KL marquee for lunch on the day for £150. The menu is prawn cocktail followed by a selection of cold meats and salads and hot new potatoes and cheesecake. Five bottles of wine are included (three white and two red) provided to your table. There will also be a number (yet to be finalised) of barrels of free ale in the marquee for those attending the lunch only. 1 June	Reporting of results this week by some has been shambles to say the least! You are expected to enter the correct scores in the summary result if play took place and a scorecard is also required for all such matches. It is possible that clubs who enter incorrect summary results in the future will be subject to point deductions. You have a duty to ensure correct information is entered on a Sunday morning.
23 May	Ashford Town 4th XI have had to withdraw from Division 5, 2nd XI. All their fixtures and results have been removed. Only one team will be now be relegated from this Division at the end of the 2010 season.
20 May	A number of Clubs have yet to pay their League subscription. We remind clubs that these must be received by the Treasurer by 31st May to avoid a £50  penalty.
18 May	Scorecard completion. It is expected that scorecards are completed fully which includes the runs at fall of each wicket (even if not the batman who was still in, although preferable as this calculates highest stands).
17 May	URGENT NOTICE - All players who play in the Kent Cricket League MUST be registered on Play-Cricket BEFORE they play a match. A match will be forfeited against you, in accordance with the Constitution, if any player plays for your club who is not correctly registered.
10 May	A reminder to all Clubs that summary results MUST be submitted via Play-Cricket by mid-day on the Sunday following the match. A five point penalty will be rigorously applied for any result submitted after 6.00 p.m. on a Sunday. Scorecards should be fully entered, where any play took place, by 6.00 p.m. by the Tuesday following the match. Full details of fines may be found HERE

22 Mar	Bromley Cricket Club are sad to announce the death of Berry Summers. Berry had been a member for some 46 years of which over 25 years were spent playing with the 1st X1. He played in the losing semi-final team in the National Knockout in 1974 and was a member of Bromley’s first ever Kent League Championship side in 1991. He also played many times for the Kent League side. Berry was a very difficult bowler to read bowling his left arm googlies and Chinaman and was a more than useful right handed bat. He was also an excellent squash player. He suffered bad health in his latter years and died, last Monday, in the Princess Royal Hospital. An unassuming, educated man who will be very much missed. Berry’s funeral will be held on Monday, April 12, at Beckenham Crematorium at 2.15 p.m.

27 Oct	Bromley C.C. wish to announce that Roy Dummer, sadly, died earlier this week. Roy was involved with a number of clubs in the league. He played for Catford and was a very successful manager of Bromley Colts in the early 1980's when they won the Tunbridge Wells Festival on three occasions. He also umpired with Lloyds, Bickley Park and Bromley. His elder son, Stephen, played at Bromley before leaving the area and Robert, current Bromley 2nd. team captain, also played with Bickley Park. His funeral will take place at Beckenham Crematorium on Thursday, November 5th. at 12.45pm.
