DINNER 2009

The League Dinner was held at the Ramada Hotel, Maidstone on Friday 13th November. Another fine evening.

Great thanks were extended to all our guests including our Master of Ceremonies Bob 'the Cat' Bevan and guest speaker, Roger Dakin.

We welcomed several guests, and in particular Giles Hilton from Shepherd Neame and Neil Pullen from Readers whose sponsorship is truly invaluable to the League.

We also welcomed back Rae Luckhusrt to present the Brian Luckhurst Spirit of Cricket award to Hartley C.C. and Tony Levick, presenting a new award under his name, for great services to the League, which was presented to our Treasurer Barry Styles to acknowledge his 28 years in office. A fine achievement.

Many thanks to them all and those who presented awards including Derek Underwood, Mike Denness and Derek Ufton, and also a special mention and thanks to Stuart Whitehead for organising the evening. Apologies to anyone I have forgotten!
